Common questions

Is So Excited free?

Yes. The app is free to download and use, with up to 3 upcoming countdowns at a time, widgets, reminders, share cards and iCloud sync. Countdowns whose day has passed move to Memories and don’t count. For unlimited countdowns and every theme, upgrade to So Excited Plus ($14.99 a year) from the app.

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose So Excited. Pick a size and tap Add Widget. Tap the number on the widget to switch between days, weeks and sleeps.

Why aren’t my countdowns on my other devices?

Sign in to the same iCloud account on each device. Pull down on the list of countdowns to sync now. If there’s a problem, a note at the top of the list explains it.

How do reminders work?

Turn on Remind Me in Settings. You can choose halfway there, one week to go, the day before and a daily count, and the time they arrive. You’ll get at most one reminder a day, and the day itself always gets one.

What happens when a countdown’s day has passed?

It becomes a torn stub in Memories, at the bottom of your list. You can also move any countdown to Memories yourself.

What’s in So Excited Plus?

Unlimited countdowns, every theme, a Custom theme in your own colors, and everything new in Plus. It’s an optional yearly subscription; everything else in the app is free.

I subscribed on another device. How do I get Plus here?

Open Settings in the app, tap Get So Excited Plus, and choose Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel?

In the app, open Settings and tap Manage Subscription, or go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Your countdowns stay if Plus ends.
