Terms of Use

The short version: count down to the good stuff. So Excited is free for up to 3 countdowns at a time. So Excited Plus is an optional yearly subscription through Apple that you can cancel any time.

Agreement

These terms apply to the So Excited app for iPhone, iPad and Mac (“the app”), made by Paul Colton. By downloading or using the app you agree to them, and to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which also applies. If anything here conflicts with Apple’s agreement, Apple’s agreement wins.

So Excited Plus

• So Excited Plus is an optional auto-renewing yearly subscription that unlocks unlimited countdowns, every theme including Custom, and features added to Plus later.
• The price is shown before you subscribe, and payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically each year at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or from Manage Subscription in the app’s Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• If Plus ends, nothing is deleted: all your countdowns stay, and the app switches to a free theme. Adding new countdowns beyond the free limit needs Plus again.
• Use Restore Purchases to get Plus back on a new device or after reinstalling.
• Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Purchases are processed with the help of RevenueCat, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your content

Your countdowns, notes, photos and the share cards you make are yours. Please only add photos and images you have the right to use. The app’s name, design and code remain the property of the developer.

Fair use

Please don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, or try to unlock paid features without paying for them.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to make So Excited delightful and reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or work on every device, or that reminders will always arrive. To the extent the law allows, the developer isn’t liable for any loss arising from using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

Changes

The app and these terms may change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the app means you accept them.
